Love in Every Stitch is a dedication to how interactions with others positively impact a person throughout their life and is targeted towards children. I created the writing, illustration, and book design. I started with brainstorming and writing a cohesive but simple story a child could grasp and relate to. Then I fleshed it out further by drawing thumbnails using my original character, Lulette. I considered pacing throughout the spreads, alternating between headshots, busts, full body shots, and other close-ups to create a sense of movement. The composition of each page also avoids clutter while leading the eye from one part to the next.
