My alternative reality project challenges the viewer with a mysterious, bizarre world far removed from our own. I focused on subtle storytelling, encouraging the viewer to analyze and interpret the piece based on their own experiences. The illustration of the girl with the umbrella was drawn by me. I settled on creating a photocollage for the environment as the intermixing of mediums was unconventional and interesting to experiment with. There is quite a leap between the original quick thumbnail and the final piece.
