This project began with the task of eavesdropping and making notes of what I heard. Then, from these notes of passing conversations from strangers and friends alike, I moved to mixing them in a brainstorming stage. This project challenged me to make sense of seemingly nonsense and then tell a story with it. I was reminded of my original character, Myo, and her mad scientist mother’s story, so I put a digital twist on it because “Lifeweaver” from a video game was mentioned. I once again combined my illustration skills with a photoshopped collage to create an unsettling fake videogame screenshot.
