In our social equity class, we were encouraged to look into social problems and shed light on them. While these rights might be declared by the United Nations, there are still many situations where they fail to be met. I focused on this injustice and the excessive expenses faced by the judicial system. For the original brainstorming step, I explored three different articles on human rights and related poster concepts that could provide deep social commentary on them. Through several different iterations of thumbnails and work-in-progress concepts, I reached my end product for Article 10: Fair Trial. This poster brings awareness to victims failed by the law simply because they cannot afford it.
